GhostSandbox is the lab. LIVE is the venue: a poster you can play.
Wave Lab is a mathematical simulation. The picture and the sound come from the same sine equation, so what you see is what you hear. The window shows 25 milliseconds of sound.
Interference is a mathematical simulation of two speakers playing the same tone in a room 6 meters across, seen from above, with sound moving at 343 meters per second. It leaves out echoes and the way sound fades with distance. The ripples are slowed down so you can see them; the volume you hear follows the "you" marker.
Light Show is an artistic interpretation. Your settings drive it, but it is not a picture of real physics.
Nothing here measures a real signal. There is no microphone.
Everything runs in your browser. No account, nothing uploaded. Saved images go straight to your device, and share links carry only your settings. Privacy notice.
Patterns move but do not flash. Calm slows them and softens the color. If your device asks for reduced motion, the field holds still and changes only when you do.
